Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 January 2026

At Hedgefundxt we believe cookies should be explained for what they are: small files stored on your device. This page describes which ones we use, what they are for and how you can change your choice at any time.

Default consent

When the site loads for the first time, every category other than strictly necessary is denied. Only after you interact with the banner do we apply your choice. Technically this is managed with Google Consent Mode v2, which is initialised before any Google advertising or analytics script.

Cookie types and consent signals

We use the following consent signal categories: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage, functionality_storage, personalization_storage and security_storage. The last two remain enabled because they keep the site secure and working correctly.

Google Consent Mode v2

The site loads the Google tag (gtag.js) with the identifier AW-18064110603 and respects your choice for Google Ads and GA4. Until you accept, no advertising or analytics data is stored. When you update your preferences, we send Google a “consent update” signal together with a cookie_consent_update event on the dataLayer.

How your choice is stored

Your decision is saved in the browser local storage under the key hedgefundxt_consent_v2. If you clear browser data, the banner will appear again on the next visit.

How to change your choice

You can change the categories you accept at any time by clicking “Manage cookies” in the footer. You can also reject everything from the initial banner or delete cookies and site data from your browser.

Third-party cookies

When you accept the relevant categories, Google may store its own identifiers for advertising measurement and analytics. We do not use cookies from social networks or third-party advertisers other than Google.
